Kate has been riding horses for 3 years after working at a carriage company in South Carolina. She later worked part time at a prestigious barn where she met her riding instructor and was trained to ride English on a beautiful southern plantation. She also learned to gallop on an old airplane runway! Kate joined us in 2021 and enjoys the beautiful sunrise and sunset while meandering down the beach with her horse Lyrica.
Britney has been riding since she was 7 years old! She brings over 15 years of experience to Amelia Island Horseback Riding. Previously she has worked at kids day camps as well as guided trail rides in Davie, Florida. She enjoys the serenity of Amelia Island and how happy it makes other people to check this off their bucket list. Britney enjoys riding with her horse Ozzy.
Holly has over 25 years of experience in all facets of equestrianism. She is skilled in riding, showing, training, polo grooming and fox hunting grooming. She enjoys the beautiful scenery of Amelia Island and sharing that with our riders. Holly enjoys riding with her horse Jazzy.
Mikayla has been riding for 13 years. She used to travel with team roping and sorting. Previously, she used work at a smaller cattle ranch while working cows. Her favorite part about horseback riding on Amelia Island is how calm and peaceful it can be. Mikayla enjoys riding with her horse Zues.
With a lifelong passion for horses, I started riding English at the age of 10 in South Florida. After moving here at 14, I switched to Western Pleasure under the guidance of Debbie. Eventually, I craved more excitement and began competing in mounted games.
When I’m not riding, I enjoy baseball and cheering on Georgia football. My horses, Captain and Muffin, are my best boys and constant companions.
Maranda has been riding since she was 10 years old, and there’s nothing she enjoys more. She loves sharing the beauty of the beach with all of her riders.
Jessi has been riding since she was 3 years old. She has enjoyed everything from little britches rodeo to the nice and easy trail rides in Northern Michigan. She has lived here for 16 years and loves to share the beauty of the sunrises on the beach with our riders. Jessi loves her mornings with Ginger.
Bailey’s love for horses began when she was a young girl. She spent summers growing up with her grandfather’s harness racing horses in Maryland. As she got older she took western riding lessons and has grown to love barrel racing.
